Application for Assistance
BCM Georgia provides an online application for appointments that allows clients to pass along identification, key household information, and financial history more quickly than a phone interview alone. By selecting an appointment time and entering the information requested, BCM Georgia can connect with you and quickly vet your application.
Current Application Status
Currently, BCM Georgia is accepting online applications for financial assistance for all of Georgia residents. If unable to sign up for a financial appointment, contact United Way 2-1-1 and request an updated list of agencies that may be able to assist.
What Do I Need to Apply Online?
- Digital copies of identifying information for every adult in your household.
- Digital copies of documents proving current housing in the applicant’s name.
- Digital copies of documents showing current need or loss that would be addressed with financial assistance.
- Valid email address and phone number where you can be reached.
Each application will have its own specific requirements in addition to those listed above, so pay careful attention to the first page of the application where they are listed. Digital copies of documents include scans or PDFs, but may also include legible photos of those documents.
What Happens Once I Apply?
Once an application is completed and submitted, you will receive an email stating that your appointment is Pending. Your appointment is pending because the application has been received but has yet to be reviewed. The email address in your application is where to look for all emails from a BCM Georgia representative/case manager. Check your spam folder if you do not receive a notification in your inbox! Once the BCM Georgia representative reviews and verifies your information, you’ll receive an email confirming, requesting additional information, or canceling your appointment. DO NOT expect to meet with a BCM Georgia Case Manager if you have not received a Confirmed email.
